Desford Dog Care is a small business in the Parish of Desford, Leicestershire, providing a caring and loving home environment for dogs, as an alternative to kennels. In addition, I offer behavioural support and advice to dogs and their owners.

As an experienced dog owner myself, I understand how special your pet is to you. I realise how important it is to know that your dog is happy when you are on holiday, at work or just out for the day. My previous experience as an emergency foster carer for rescue dogs means you can rest assured that I have the skills to help your dog settle and provide a home-from-home environment in which he or she feels safe, secure and stimulated until your return.

I guarantee that your dog will stay with us in our comfortable family home and get plenty of enjoyable exercise. I care for your dog like my own, but in consultation with you, I will tailor the care to suit your dogs’ individual needs.

I absolutely adore spending time with dogs but nothing excites me more than working behaviourally with dogs and their owners.

I teach dog owners how to set boundaries and to communicate in a language that their dog understands. Results are rapid, often instantaneous! To be part of that transition and to see dog and owner communicate successfully, with a strengthened bond, is a joy.
