Dogs operate on a social structure of rank – a hierachy. If you put in some clear leadership then your dog will respond and present more positive behaviours. My behaviour methods are based on this – and they work!
During my consultations I aim to explain your dog’s behaviour and give you tailored, practical solutions to modify it.
I will asses your dog in his or her home environment and teach you how to communicate in a language that your dog understands, in order to correct the unwanted behaviour. Results are rapid!

Rachel came to work with our dog Milo, who was a young, high energy, unruly terrier. We soon realised that it was not Milo, but us she needed to work on! Rachel gave us a specific exercise regime for Milo that fitted into our busy schedule. This including, introducing him to a doggy treadmill. She also demonstrated how to communicate with him to create boundaries. The effects were instant and dramatic!
We have not looked back since Rachel’s visit. We now own a well mannered and responsive dog.
Rachel has transformed our crazy Labrador-Boxer cross into a calm, well balanced dog who is a pleasure to be around. The methods she taught us were simple, non aggressive, and worked! She is a definite dog whisperer.
We adopted Pepper, our small, mixed-breed terrier from Spain when he was 8 months old. He had been found as a stray at five months and had spent time in foster care in Spain and England - so he had some interesting habits and anxieties! Rachel’s help was absolutely invaluable. Within minutes of her meeting him on his second day with us, she taught him that the stairs were out of bounds and stopped him going on the furniture, all by firm, pre-emptive commands which he instantly understood. Since then, Rachel has helped us control a range of unwanted behaviours, such as excessive barking, jumping up and whining for food. Pepper loves to see her but he knows exactly what is expected of him too. Her manner is calm and authoritative, and quite unobtrusive. There’s just no drama - only great results!
Ruby, my Hungarian Viszla is timid and suffered from separation anxiety. I never went out without her. Rachel taught me how to behave around her to make her relax and settle alone. It took a little time but I can now go out and leave her without any stress or destruction. I was so impressed! Rachel really understands dogs and I would highly recommend her.
